TAGUIG, February 4, 2023 — In light of Eco Eye, Splash Corporation has expressed its appreciation Mt. Purro Nature Reserve (MPNR) that devoted its time, resources, and efforts to help the organization fulfill its shared goals despite the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eco-Eye is the ‘eye’ through which we, as a company, try to see everything and work towards ecological sustainability within and outside the organization. This year, we focus on carbon neutrality, water balance, waste management, and biodiversity.
Apart from being our shared objective in our Performance Management System, Eco-Eye is also integrated into GFC or Green Factory Certification by Wipro. Through our collective effort, we can help earn points and achieve this award from the Office of the President of Wipro Enterprises Ltd.
Starting the year with fulfilling our Corporate Social Responsibility, we have gathered 2 batches of around 80 Wipro Splash volunteers to morning to plant seedlings along the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range. The beneficiary, Mt. Purro Nature Reserve, offered not only a chance to plant seedlings but also to cultivate a deep appreciation for nature and the communities surrounding it.
By sharing their time, the volunteers have created a ripple effect to help mitigate the catastrophic effects of typhoons and heavy rainfall.
